Website Development Categories

Static Corporate Websites

This category of websites contains information about the business and operations of the  company, content are basically static and does not require frequent change. The only back-end technical thing about the site is that it will include a means of getting to the company via e-mail from the site. i.e something like a contact form that will link to their email address.

 

Simple Dynamic Websites


        Similar to (a) above but has other features that might require regular updates e.g. news updates or announcements, for which an admin panel will need to be created so that they can manage those updates themselves. It requires just a simple database and some few pages of server side codes

 

Completely Dynamic Site:

This type of site is usually very complex and has a fully dynamic content. Because of its dynamic nature, the client might desire to be able to manage the site by themselves so a fully functional administrative panel needs to be build for the site which will enable the owners to manage the website themselves with little external intervention. Has complex database architectures and require high level of server side development. Examples of such sites include web journals, portals, e-commerce sites etc.

 

The design, which is actually my own professional fee depends on the full details of the site requirements. Actual price may not be predictable now depending on factors such as, if client meetings are required, 5% VAT included, and other logistics etc. But below is a rough estimate

 

Category (a) – NGN 30,000 – NGN 50,000

Category (b) – NGN 50,000 – NGN 85,000

Category (c) – Depends on the complexity, ranges from NGN 120,000 – NGN 750,000.


Also, if site includes integration of shopping carts, Interswitch or other online payments etc, appropriate fees are applicable
